Adapted from the novel by Yoshida Shuichi, ‘Kokuho’ depicts an epic story set in post-war Japan during its economic boom. The film follows Kikuo, a boy adopted by a family of kabuki actors, as he immerses himself in the unique art form and nurtures his burgeoning talent.
