Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Bin are officially confirmed as the lead stars of tvN’s new romantic comedy Spring Fever (working title), set to premiere in the latter half of 2025.
Adapted from a popular web novel, Spring Fever follows the emotional journey of Yoon Bom, a high school teacher who leaves Seoul behind after a personal setback. Hoping for a fresh start, she relocates to the quiet coastal village of Sinsu as an exchange teacher. There, she encounters Seon Jae Kyu, a misunderstood local known for his bold demeanor but surprising warmth.
Ahn Bo Hyun will portray Seon Jae Kyu, a physically imposing yet emotionally sincere character who brings unexpected energy to the town. Lee Joo Bin takes on the role of Yoon Bom, a once-popular teacher who becomes the center of curiosity in her new rural community.
The series is directed by Park Won Guk, known for Marry My Husband and Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist, and penned by writer Kim Ah Jung, who previously worked on The Secret Life of My Secretary.
Promising heartfelt stories set against a scenic seaside backdrop, Spring Fever aims to deliver warmth, healing, and light-hearted charm through its character-driven narrative.
