Park Min Young is back — and this time, she’s stepping into the stylish shoes of a genius con artist.
The upcoming drama “Confidence Queen”, a Korean remake of the 2018 Japanese hit “The Confidence Man JP”, has just unveiled a striking new teaser poster and video clip, giving fans their first taste of the high-stakes, high-style world of elite scammers.
In the series, Park Min Young plays Yoon Yi Rang, a brilliant swindler with an IQ of 165 — ranking in the top 1% of genius minds. Cold, charismatic, and wildly eccentric, she leads a trio of con artists who use their extraordinary talents to take down corrupt villains from all walks of life.
The teaser poster sets the tone perfectly: Yoon Yi Rang, clad in a razor-sharp suit, lounges on a sofa while confidently trampling over piles of cash. Her expression is cool and unbothered — a true queen of deception.
The teaser clip adds even more personality. Yi Rang opens with a smirk, declaring, “My looks are my greatest weapon.” Then there’s Myung Gu Ho (played by Joo Jong Hyuk), the upbeat youngest member of the team, who thrives on the chaos of cons. “Isn’t the real thrill of a scheme all about these unexpected situations?” he quips.
Rounding out the trio is veteran conman James (Park Hee Soon), who brings a dose of dry humor and effortless charm to the group. His seasoned wit adds balance to Yi Rang’s intensity and Gu Ho’s enthusiasm.
With a stylish cast, playful energy, and thrilling schemes, “Confidence Queen” is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated dramas of the season.
