Zhao Lusi’s drama Xu Wo Yao Yan (許我耀眼), co-starring Hong Kong actor William Chan (陳偉霆), wrapped filming in September 2023. During production, Zhao personally helped coordinate the costumes, which became a major talking point on Chinese social media. The drama’s related topics surpassed 1 billion views on Weibo — an all-time record for a drama still in production.
Although it obtained its release license in April, recent reports suggest the show is targeting a September release.
