Son Ye Jin is making her long-awaited return to the big screen in 어쩔수가없다, taking on the role of Miri, a resilient woman who stands by her family through difficult times.
Directed by Park Chan Wook, 어쩔수가없다 tells the story of Mansoo (played by Lee Byung Hun), a man who once felt he had achieved everything in life—until he’s suddenly laid off. As he faces unemployment, he begins a personal battle to protect his family and the home he worked so hard to build.
Son Ye Jin has showcased her range in films like A Moment to Remember, The Classic, The Last Princess, The Pirates, and The Truth Beneath, and left lasting impressions in dramas such as Alone in Love and Something in the Rain with her nuanced emotional performances.
Following her global success as Yoon Se Ri, a top CEO in Crash Landing on You, Son Ye Jin returns as Miri in 어쩔수가없다, marking her first film appearance in seven years.
