In Fanren Xiuxian Zhuan (《凡人修仙传》), Na Yi (娜一) portrays Zhong Weiniang (钟卫娘), a noble-born cultivator whose journey through the world of cultivation is marked by both discipline and quiet compassion. As the direct descendant of the prominent Zhongwu family in Yue Kingdom, Zhong Weiniang grows up surrounded by a strong spiritual culture. Gifted with a spiritual root, she becomes a key focus of the family’s training and is eventually accepted as a disciple by Li Huayuan (李化元), officially beginning her path of cultivation.
Alongside Song Meng (宋蒙) and others, she trains in the Changchun Technique under Li’s mentorship, quickly advancing to the mid-Foundation Establishment stage — a testament to both her talent and resilience. Though not a central character in the series, Zhong Weiniang makes a strong impression with every appearance, especially during her time at Huangfeng Valley.
Na Yi (娜一)’s portrayal emphasizes a subtle, restrained performance. Clad in a bluish-grey Daoist robe and adorned with simple silver hairpins, she carries an ethereal, aloof presence. With delicate, elongated features, her cold exterior is softened in moments of quiet kindness — most notably when she silently hands a healing pill to Han Li (韩立) during one of his low points. Without saying a word, her gaze alone communicates care and understanding — a perfect interpretation of “cold outside, warm within.”
Born on October 3, 2002, in Urumqi, Xinjiang, Na Yi (real name: Qianlingnai·Awutijiang / 茜玲娜依·阿吾提江) is a graduate of the Beijing Film Academy. She entered the industry as a child actress in 2011 with the film Wulumuqi de Tiankong (《乌鲁木齐的天空》), and later appeared in Jiang Ye (《将夜》), Zhen Mo Si: Xiyu Yishou (《镇魔司:西域异兽》), and Wo Men Zhe Shi Nian (《我们这十年》), among others.
In Fanren Xiuxian Zhuan, her performance as Zhong Weiniang stands out not for dramatic monologues or heavy emotion, but for the understated precision with which she conveys the character’s emotional restraint and internal loyalty. It’s a portrayal that reflects maturity, control, and a deep understanding of her role — impressive for a young actress still early in her career.
