Netflix has unveiled new character posters and stills for its highly anticipated drama “Genie, Make a Wish,” starring Kim Woo Bin and Suzy—and their dynamic is anything but ordinary.
Set to premiere on October 3, “Genie, Make a Wish” tells the story of Genie (Kim Woo Bin), a mysterious spirit who wakes from a thousand-year slumber to grant three life-altering wishes to Ka Young (Suzy), a cold, emotionless young woman who becomes the accidental owner of a magical lamp. The new character posters perfectly capture the eerie tension between the two leads. Genie, described as “the Satan of the lamp,” is shown radiating golden light, his seductive smile belying his sinister intentions. The tagline reads ominously: “All humans end up corrupted,” hinting at his bleak view of humanity. A floating hourglass in his hand suggests that time—and perhaps fate—is running out.

New stills from the drama only deepen the intrigue.
