Park Jinyoung of GOT7 marked his birthday in a meaningful way this year — by giving back to a cause close to his heart.
On September 22, international children’s rights organization Save the Children announced that Park Jinyoung, a member of its Honors Club, donated 100 million won (approximately $71,767 USD) to support children’s meal programs. His generous contribution aims to provide nutritious meals for families with children facing food insecurity or lacking adequate care due to financial or caregiving challenges. The donation will also go toward improving kitchen facilities to better serve these families.

Sharing his thoughts on the donation, Park Jinyoung said, “I believe I can keep moving forward thanks to the love and support of many fans, and I have been thinking about how I can give back for the great love I have received. I am grateful to be able to help even in a small way in protecting children’s smiles. I will continue to do my best in acting and singing with sincerity.”
This isn’t the first time the artist has stepped forward to support humanitarian efforts. In February 2023, Park Jinyoung donated 30 million won (approximately $21,527) for earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria. Just two months later, in April, he contributed another 30 million won to aid children and families impacted by the earthquake in Myanmar.
Through his ongoing support, Park Jinyoung continues to use his platform not only as an entertainer, but also as a steady advocate for vulnerable communities — quietly building a legacy of kindness alongside his career in music and acting.
