Excitement is building as Hwang In Youp and Hyeri officially confirm their lead roles in the upcoming romantic comedy To You (literal title), a heartfelt reunion drama that promises a mix of laughter, longing, and self-discovery.

Penned by Jung Eun Bi—the writer behind beloved titles like Goblin and Doom at Your Service—To You tells the story of two former dreamers brought back together by fate and unfinished art. Genius film director Woo Soo Bin, who has reached the peak of success abroad, returns to Korea and reconnects with Joo Yi Jae, a once passionate aspiring filmmaker turned popular reporter who has lost sight of her youthful dreams. Together, they revisit a film left incomplete in their teenage years and begin rewriting a love story that never had its proper ending.
Hwang In Youp takes on the role of Woo Soo Bin, a visionary director who broke away from the life his parents planned and carved out his own path in his twenties. After making a stunning debut with a film that swept international festivals, he returns home—not just as a director, but as someone chasing a different kind of dream: a second chance with the girl who once shared his passion.
Sharing his thoughts, Hwang In Youp commented, “I am happy and excited to show a new side of myself through the role of Woo Soo Bin. I am working hard with director Yoo Seon Dong, writer Jung Eun Bi, and many fellow actors to bring audiences a great production, so I ask for your great interest.” He added, “I also hope you will look forward to the new synergy and chemistry between Hyeri and me.”
Hyeri stars as Joo Yi Jae, a sharp, determined reporter known for her versatility—from fast-talking charm and social ease to her command of local dialects. While she’s gained recognition for her on-the-ground reporting and even a segment under her own name, Yi Jae harbors quiet regrets. Her twenties didn’t go as planned, and now in her thirties, she feels like she’s settled for less. The return of Woo Soo Bin—her first love and creative partner from their youth—shakes her from her routine and reignites the flame of a dream she thought she buried long ago.
Hyeri shared her excitement, saying, “I believe I will be able to show many different sides of myself through the role of Joo Yi Jae. I am preparing with excitement, so please look forward to it.”
Promising a blend of romantic tension, personal rediscovery, and nostalgic emotion, To You aims to resonate with anyone who’s ever paused in life to wonder: what if we tried again?
To You is slated to premiere in 2026. Stay tuned for updates as the cast begins filming this anticipated new drama.
