Things are about to get hilariously out of hand in MBC’s “To the Moon,” as Kang Tae Oh steps in for a special appearance that’s bound to be unforgettable.

The drama, adapted from a novel of the same name, follows the lives of three women from modest backgrounds who find themselves diving into the unpredictable world of cryptocurrency in hopes of financial freedom. With humor, heart, and a touch of chaos, “To the Moon” explores modern struggles and bold choices.

In the first two episodes, viewers saw the unlikely connection between Jung Da Hae (Lee Sun Bin) and Ham Ji Woo (Kim Young Dae), who repeatedly crossed paths over three years. From a job interview interrupted by a bee sting to a bizarre mishap involving a massage chair, and most recently, a drunken headbutt, their encounters have been nothing short of dramatic.

Now, newly released stills from the upcoming third episode give fans a glimpse into the next twist: a blind date that takes an unexpected turn. Kang Tae Oh, who previously starred alongside Lee Sun Bin in “The Potato Lab,” will play Da Hae’s date in what starts off as a seemingly promising setup.

At first, the atmosphere between the two is romantically charged, with their body language suggesting instant chemistry. But things quickly spiral—Da Hae’s date is soon seen in a hospital bed, bandaged and glaring at her with unmistakable dismay.

Just when the situation couldn’t get more awkward, Ham Ji Woo enters the scene with his trademark smirk, leaving Da Hae stunned and speechless.

According to the production team, Episode 3 will bring the three characters together in a lively and unpredictable encounter. “You can look forward to the refreshing fun and entertainment brought about by their face-off,” they shared.

Kang Tae Oh’s appearance was made possible through his friendship with Lee Sun Bin. “He agreed to the cameo without hesitation and delivered a memorable performance,” said the team. “Despite the short screen time, he had great chemistry with both Lee Sun Bin and Kim Young Dae, leaving a strong impression.”

Catch Kang Tae Oh’s much-anticipated cameo in the next episode of “To the Moon,” airing on September 26 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
