Sato Taiki, member of EXILE and FANTASTICS, has been confirmed to appear in the upcoming live-action film Romantic Killer. He will portray a mysterious swordsman who relentlessly pursues the main character, played by Kamishiraishi Moka.
Adapted from the manga of the same name by Momoyo Wataru, Romantic Killer brings together a cast of notable male leads including Takahashi Kyohei (Naniwa Danshi), Kimura Masaya (INI), and Nakajima Sota (FANTASTICS), forming a key trio of classmates central to the story’s romantic developments.

The plot centers on Hoshino Anzu (Kamishiraishi), a high school student with no interest in romance. Her world is turned upside down when a wizard named Lili suddenly appears. In Lili’s magical realm, energy is generated by people falling in love—but Anzu’s complete lack of romantic interest causes an imbalance. In an attempt to restore order, Lili casts a spell that will supposedly make Anzu fall in love within a month.
Following the spell, a series of attractive young men begin to appear around Anzu, placing her in situations designed to spark romantic tension. As she navigates these unexpected encounters, she slowly begins to connect with the three classmates, each bringing a different dynamic into her life.
In addition to Sato Taiki, the film also features Yonashiro Sho from JO1, adding to a cast filled with rising young talents from across the J-pop scene.
Romantic Killer was released on December 12.
