Choi Woo Shik is turning heads with his stylish transformation for SBS’s new romantic comedy “Would You Marry Me.”
The upcoming drama follows a man and a woman who enter into a 90-day fake marriage to win a luxurious newlywed home. Choi Woo Shik stars as Kim Woo Joo, the fourth-generation heir to South Korea’s oldest bakery Myungsoondang, while Jung So Min plays Yoo Mary, a small business owner who proposes the unconventional deal.
Kim Woo Joo is not only the heir to a family legacy but also a top contender to inherit the business. After earning an MBA and building hands-on experience at a New York consulting firm, he returns home to take on the role of marketing team leader at Myungsoondang—determined to prove his worth beyond his family name.
New stills spotlight Woo Joo’s flawless office look and undeniable charisma. Dressed in a relaxed, oversized suit that highlights his tall frame, he blends classic charm with a modern edge. His wardrobe—featuring a clean white T-shirt paired with beige and black suits—perfectly complements his composed and sophisticated aura.
In one scene, Woo Joo greets his new team, introduced by his uncle-in-law Jang Han Goo (Kim Young Min), the company’s CFO. With a calm smile and confident posture, he embodies the poise of a leader ready to make his mark both in the office and, perhaps, in matters of the heart.
“Would You Marry Me” premieres on October 10 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
