Actors Nakajima Ayumu and Kusakawa Takuya (from the group Chotokkyu) will co-star in the upcoming TV drama “Oretachi Bad Barbers,” directed by Sakamoto Yugo, known for Baby Warukyure.
Story Overview
Set in the quiet countryside town, the story unfolds around a seemingly ordinary barbershop called Tsukishiro. However, beneath its peaceful surface lies an unexpected secret. Tsukishiro Tsukasa (played by Kusakawa) is the owner of the shop — a behind-the-scenes “problem fixer” who takes on the kinds of jobs society can’t handle. Meanwhile, Higurashi Ayumu (played by Nakajima) is a once-skilled barber who now lives and works at the shop. Though the two constantly clash, they find themselves tackling all sorts of bizarre and unpredictable requests together.
Blending humor, action, and quirky small-town charm, Oretachi Bad Barbers promises an offbeat yet heartwarming story about partnership and the messy art of solving problems — one haircut at a time.
The series will premiere in January 2026, airing every Friday at 24:42 on TV Tokyo and affiliated networks.
