Exciting News in the K-Drama Scene
In the latest development from the K-drama world, star Kim Hye Yoon may potentially join Jang Nara in the anticipated second season of ‘Good Partner.’ On November 5, media outlets reported that Kim Hye Yoon received an offer to play a significant role in this new series. In response, her agency, Artist Company, confirmed the news, stating, ‘Kim Hye Yoon received an offer to star in ‘Good Partner 2’ and is currently reviewing her offer.’

About ‘Good Partner’ and Its Success
The original series, written by an actual divorce attorney, centers around two contrasting divorce lawyers—Cha Eun Kyung, portrayed by Jang Nara, and the rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri, played by Nam Ji Hyun. The drama has struck a chord with audiences, achieving a remarkable peak average nationwide viewership rating of 17.7 percent. Notably, Jang Nara was awarded the grand prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards for her stellar performance.
What Lies Ahead for ‘Good Partner 2’
SBS confirmed the production of season two earlier in April; however, details regarding the filming and broadcast schedule, as well as additional cast members, remain undecided. Although Nam Ji Hyun was previously in discussions to reprise her role, she has now turned down the offer due to scheduling conflicts. The upcoming season promises to be an exciting and dynamic continuation of the acclaimed series, co-produced by Kim Hye Yoon’s agency and Studio.
