Maya Imamori Withdraws from “No.1 Sentai Gozyuger” Following Underage Drinking Incident

On November 8, TV Asahi announced that 19-year-old actress Maya Imamori will no longer appear in the TV series No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, in which she played the role of Ichikawa Sumino / Gozyu Unicorn.

TV Asahi stated that they were informed by the production company Toei that Imamori will be stepping away from upcoming projects due to underage drinking. Considering the seriousness of the incident, they agreed to her withdrawal.

Imamori’s management company also announced on their official website that her contract has been terminated.
