Uber has unveiled its new Uber Ski service, offering skiers and snowboarders a seamless way to reach the slopes with all their equipment. The service accommodates vehicles capable of carrying up to four passengers along with their ski gear, allowing users to reserve rides up to 90 days in advance through Uber Reserve. This ensures mountain-goers can avoid the common challenge of finding oversized rides at airports or resort parking areas.

Within the Uber app, users will now see an Uber Ski option. They can choose between an UberXL, suitable for two skiers with gear, or an UberXXL, which accommodates four passengers and their equipment. The service launches on November 13 and will operate through the end of March, aligning with ski season in the U.S. and other global destinations. Currently, Uber Ski is available in the United States, France, and Switzerland, with Canada set to follow later this year.
Uber has partnered with Vail Resorts to simplify the ski-trip experience. Riders can now purchase Epic Passes or one-day tickets directly through the app. Full-season Epic Passes grant access to over 90 mountains worldwide and include discounts on dining, retail, lodging, and rentals. The new Epic Friend Tickets program for the 2025/2026 season allows pass holders to extend 50 percent discounts on lift tickets to six friends. For those purchasing later in the season, Epic Local Passes provide ten days at select resorts at a reduced price, while Epic Day Passes offer one to seven-day access.
Vail Resorts operates and partners with some of the most popular ski destinations globally, including Whistler Blackcomb in Canada, multiple Colorado resorts, and international locations in France, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, and Japan. Uber Ski aims to make reaching these world-class slopes convenient, comfortable, and fully integrated with the Epic Pass experience.
