On November 19, media outlets reported that actress Yoon Chaekyung and former national badminton player Lee Yong Dae have been dating for approximately one year.

In response, Yoon Chaekyung’s agency, PA Entertainment, issued a brief statement: “It is difficult to confirm as this pertains to the actress’s private life.”

Yoon Chaekyung debuted in Japan as a member of the group Puretty and later trained under DSP Media, participating in MBC’s Kara Project and Mnet’s Produce 101. She then promoted in the project groups C.I.V.A and I.B.I before joining the girl group APRIL in November 2016. After APRIL disbanded in January 2022, she transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas such as Korea-Khitan War and The Confidence Queen.

Lee Yong Dae married actress Byun Soo Mi in 2017 after six years of dating, but they divorced roughly a year later in 2018 due to personality differences. Since then, he has been raising his daughter on his own.
