On November 21, Song Ji Hyo’s agency NEXUS E&M, through its legal representative, issued an official statement addressing recent allegations concerning her father and warning against criminal acts.
The agency explained that it received an email claiming that a company run by Song Ji Hyo’s father was in default and included a banner mock-up labeling him as a “celebrity parent, famous on TV for the passenger ship business.” NEXUS E&M stated that such acts go beyond legitimate inquiry, aiming to harm Song Ji Hyo’s reputation and disrupt normal business operations, which constitutes a punishable offense.
The agency stressed that any recurrence of similar unlawful acts will be met with swift legal action, including criminal complaints and claims for damages. NEXUS E&M reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the rights and honor of Song Ji Hyo and ensuring her professional activities remain unaffected by malicious behavior.
