On November 24, ENA announced the confirmed cast lineup for its upcoming drama Climax, featuring Ju Ji Hoon, Ha Ji Won, Nana, Oh Jung Se, and Cha Joo Young. The series will be directed by Lee Ji Won, who previously won the Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Director for the film Miss Baek.
Climax is a high-stakes survival drama centered on prosecutor Bang Tae Seob, who plunges into a power-driven cartel in his pursuit of reaching the pinnacle of influence in South Korea.

Ju Ji Hoon will portray Bang Tae Seob, a star prosecutor married to South Korea’s top actress Chu Sang Ah. Ha Ji Won takes on the role of Chu Sang Ah, once the nation’s most celebrated actress who finds herself dismissed as a “washed-up star” after marriage.
Nana will play Hwang Jung Won, who secretly works as an informant for Bang Tae Seob and holds the key to the “Pandora’s box” that threatens to reveal the cartel’s darkest secrets. Meanwhile, Cha Joo Young stars as Lee Yang Mi, the second wife of the chairman of WR Group, Korea’s third-largest conglomerate. Oh Jung Se plays Kwon Jong Wook, the chairman’s eldest son who competes with Lee Yang Mi for succession within the conglomerate.
The production team shared, “Director Lee Ji Won, known for her refined mise-en-scène and exceptional storytelling, joins forces with a trusted cast to create a powerful synergy. The intertwined ambitions of each character and the compelling narrative resulting from their decisions make this drama especially captivating. We ask for your anticipation and support.”
Climax is scheduled to premiere in 2026 via ENA.
