On November 23, JYP Entertainment announced that Stray Kids’ Seungmin would not be participating in that day’s live broadcast of SBS’s Inkigayo due to receiving treatment for foot inflammation.
According to the agency’s statement, Seungmin recently felt discomfort in his foot and has been undergoing appropriate treatment based on medical advice. After finishing the pre-recording for the day, he visited the hospital for additional care, during which he was informed that temporary pain could intensify due to the injection procedure. Fortunately, the medical team also noted that the pain is expected to improve quickly within a short period.
To ensure a smooth and quick recovery, and following the recommendation that he receive adequate rest, JYP Entertainment decided that Seungmin would inevitably sit out the scheduled appearance. The agency apologized to fans who had been eagerly waiting and asked for their understanding.
JYP emphasized that the artist’s health remains the top priority and that they will make every effort to support Seungmin’s full recovery.
