TVING’s upcoming original series Villains has revealed its first official poster, setting a cold and gripping tone for the crime-action drama centered on an ultra-precise counterfeit bill known as the “Supernote.” The story follows criminals entangled in a chain of deception as fake cash, real money, and strategic theft intertwine—unfolding into a tense psychological showdown among players determined to outmaneuver one another.

In the newly released poster, three characters share the same target but mask vastly different motives behind their icy expressions. J (Yoo Ji Tae), Cha Ki Tae (Lee Beom Soo), and Han Soo Hyun (Lee Min Jung) stare forward with unreadable calm, hinting at the looming collision of ambition, resentment, and personal agendas. The tagline, “The ‘super’ crime of the worst begins,” signals a world built on fragile alliances, betrayal, and blood-stained deals.

Yoo Ji Tae plays “J,” a shadowy mastermind criminal with a flawless success rate, known for orchestrating the notorious Casino Dealer Counterfeit Bill Case.
Lee Beom Soo takes on the role of Cha Ki Tae, a former NIS Financial Crimes Task Force leader who lost everything because of that same case. With the Supernote resurfacing, his pursuit of J becomes relentless.
Lee Min Jung portrays Han Soo Hyun, a top-tier currency design artist whose life was derailed by a single incident. After years of waiting for her chance at revenge, she plunges back into the game, determined to overturn the entire scheme.

According to the production team, each villain chases the Supernote for motives tied to desire, power, and long-buried wounds, promising viewers a tightly woven psychological drama filled with deception and conflict. Villains premieres on December 18, heralding a dark, high-stakes showdown that probes ambition, loyalty, and the price of survival.
