Actress Jung Chaeyeon may soon return to the small screen through a new high-profile project. On December 4, reports revealed that she has been offered a leading role in the upcoming drama “M: Reboot” (working title).
Her agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed that she has received the proposal and is currently reviewing it. “M: Reboot” is a remake of MBC’s iconic 1994 horror drama “M,” a 10-episode series that recorded an average rating of 38.6 percent and peaked at an impressive 50 percent, propelling actress Shim Eun Ha to nationwide fame.
The upcoming remake is set to be reimagined as a modern sci-fi thriller designed for the global market in 2025. Production will be helmed by BIG OCEAN ENM, known for popular works such as “Flex x Cop” and “Our Beloved Summer,” further raising expectations.
While Jung Chaeyeon has not yet finalized her participation, the possibility of her joining the project has already attracted considerable attention, potentially marking another significant step forward in her acting career.
