SBS’s upcoming drama Brave New World (working title) has officially welcomed a new cast member: Lee Se Hee has confirmed her appearance, adding even more anticipation to the series.
Brave New World is a new Friday-Saturday drama that blends romance, conflict, and a unique cross-era premise. The story follows Shin Seo Ri (played by Lim Ji Yeon), a villainess from the Joseon era who suddenly finds herself in the modern world, where she becomes entangled in a love-hate relationship with Cha Se Gye (played by Heo Nam Jun), a cold and powerful chaebol heir.
According to her agency, Lee Se Hee will take on the role of Yoon Ji Hyo, a top star with more than a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. Known as an A-list actress who consistently ranks first in online “ideal type” polls, she embodies both charm and public admiration. However, when public attention unexpectedly shifts toward Shin Seo Ri, a subtle yet intriguing rivalry forms between the two women.
Brave New World is currently slated for release in 2026, and with its fresh concept and compelling cast lineup, it is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated dramas of its year.
