After Xia Zhiguang signed with Huanyu Entertainment, many fans initially questioned the decision. Huanyu already has several young male actors in the same age range, and the competition for resources seemed intense. Yet surprisingly, Xia Zhiguang’s commercial engagements have been steadily increasing, and his overall exposure has become more consistent.

His recent endorsements show stronger branding and tighter scheduling, indicating that Huanyu is positioning him seriously and investing in his growth. In terms of acting projects, Xia Zhiguang is also beginning to receive roles with more weight.

In Unrestrained at Jinwu, he played the second male lead, but his presence in the drama was strong enough to draw new attention to his acting. Even better, he is now reportedly in talks for a new lead role.

Upcoming plans include The Wind Does Not Rest, in which he is expected to star opposite Wu Jinyan. The drama is slated to begin filming in 2026. The project aligns with Huanyu’s signature style and resources, signaling that the company is ready to push him to a higher tier.

If this momentum continues, Xia Zhiguang could see significant breakthroughs in both his commercial and acting career. It’s clear he’s entering a phase where more people are beginning to truly notice him.
