The drama “Kateikyoshi no Kishi Knight desu.” has released new promotional images featuring its two main characters, played by Sawamura Rei (ONE N’ ONLY) and Tanaka Koki (SUPER★DRAGON).
This lighthearted comedy follows the “sparkling prince–type” tutor Kishi Naito (Sawamura) and the stubborn delinquent student Takasugi Toru (Tanaka). The story begins when Naito’s mother, unable to tolerate Toru’s constant fighting and perpetually failing grades, calls Naito in to tutor him. Though Toru is initially bewildered by Naito’s gentle and sweet teaching style, he gradually falls into Naito’s rhythm—and his life begins to change in unexpected ways.
The supporting cast features Sato Eriko, Miyazawa Yu, Inoue Sora, Yagami Kenjiro, Sakuragi Masaya (Genin wa Jibun ni Aru.), Osada Takuro, and Arashi Shoma. It was also announced that the ending theme, “Nobishiro,” is a newly written track by MONO NO AWARE, created especially for the drama.
“Kateikyoshi no Kishi Knight desu.” premieres on January 5, 2026, airing every Monday at 11:24 p.m. on BS Asahi.
