On December 15, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that IVE will no longer accept fan gifts or material support, with fan letters remaining the only form of support the group will receive going forward.
In its official statement, the agency expressed sincere gratitude to fans who have continuously supported IVE, before addressing policies regarding fan letters, gifts, and organized support. Following internal discussions, the company decided that IVE would no longer receive any gifts or material offerings aside from handwritten letters.
STARSHIP explained that the decision was made in hopes that fans’ goodwill and resources could be redirected to places where they may be needed more. The agency asked for fans’ understanding and cooperation, emphasizing that the intent behind the policy is rooted in consideration and long-term sustainability.
The statement also clarified that any gifts or support items currently being prepared or planned will not be accepted. Instead, the group will gratefully receive fans’ heartfelt messages and encouragement through letters alone. The move reflects a broader trend within the entertainment industry toward promoting healthier, more mindful fan culture and redefining the ways in which support is expressed.
