Apink’s Yoon Bomi has officially announced her upcoming marriage. On December 18, multiple Korean media outlets reported that Yoon Bomi will marry producer Rado (Song Joo Young) in May next year. The news was subsequently confirmed through official statements from both of their agencies.

Yoon Bomi’s agency, WITH US Entertainment, stated that she will be entering a new chapter of life with a partner who has been by her side for a long time. The agency asked for warm support from fans and emphasized that Yoon Bomi will continue her activities steadily after marriage as a member of Apink, as well as an actress and entertainer, without changes to her career plans.

Rado’s agency, High Up Entertainment, also confirmed the marriage and noted that Rado will remain fully committed to his role as the company’s chief producer even after tying the knot.

Beyond the official announcements, Yoon Bomi personally addressed fans through a handwritten letter shared on Apink’s official fan café. She began by apologizing for the news reaching fans through media reports first, expressing concern that the sudden announcement might surprise or sadden those who have supported her for so many years.

In her letter, Yoon Bomi reflected on her 15-year journey with PANDA, Apink’s fandom, expressing deep gratitude for their unwavering support through both joyful and difficult moments. She acknowledged that her growth as an artist and performer would not have been possible without the constant trust and encouragement from her fans.

Now in her thirties, Yoon Bomi shared that she has decided to spend the rest of her life with someone who has long shared her everyday life and stood beside her through both happiness and hardship. She reassured fans that she will continue to fulfill her responsibilities with sincerity and maturity, promising to repay their love with even better activities in the future.

Born in 1993, Yoon Bomi debuted with Apink in 2011. Rado, born in 1984, is a renowned producer formerly of Black Eyed Pilseung, responsible for numerous hit songs for Apink and TWICE, and the founder of High Up Entertainment. The couple has been in a relationship since 2017, which they publicly confirmed in 2024.
