On December 18, 2025, Baekhyun’s agency INB100 released an official statement outlining the latest progress in its legal actions against individuals responsible for spreading false information, defamatory content, and malicious harassment targeting the artist. According to the announcement, several cases have already reached concrete legal outcomes, while others remain under formal investigation.

INB100 stated that based on evidence gathered through its own ongoing monitoring efforts, as well as verified reports submitted by fans, the agency has filed multiple criminal complaints with investigative authorities. The charges include defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, insult, and violations of the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.

The agency confirmed that a case filed in April 2025 with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul has resulted in a fine being imposed on the defendant, marking a substantive legal judgment. Additional cases submitted in May 2025 to the Gangnam Police Station and in September 2025 to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Cyber Investigation Unit are currently proceeding through the investigative process.

INB100 emphasized that while legal procedures may take time, it will continue to cooperate closely with authorities and provide timely updates whenever significant developments occur. Regardless of the status of individual cases, the agency affirmed that its round-the-clock monitoring system will remain in place, and fan-submitted reports will continue to be carefully reviewed and utilized as legal evidence.

The announcement underscores the agency’s firm stance on artist protection. INB100 reiterated its commitment to taking decisive legal action against malicious rumors and harassment, and to safeguarding Baekhyun’s rights, reputation, and personal safety through all available legal means.
