KBS 2TV’s short-form drama project “Love Track” will air its fifth episode, titled “My Father’s Funeral,” starring Kim Yoon Hye in the lead role. The anthology series consists of ten standalone romance stories, each depicting a different emotional landscape shaped by love and circumstance.

In this episode, Kim Yoon Hye plays Choi Soo Ah, an only daughter holding a funeral for her late father. As she struggles to maintain composure amid grief, Soo Ah is confronted with an unexpected dilemma: choosing who should carry her father’s coffin—her ex-boyfriend of ten years or her current boyfriend of just one hundred days.
Kim Min Chul portrays Kang In Ho, Soo Ah’s current partner, whose relationship with her is relatively new but sincere. Kwon Soo Hyun takes on the role of Han Jung Min, Soo Ah’s former boyfriend with whom she shared a decade-long relationship. Jung Min’s appearance at the funeral unsettles Soo Ah emotionally, reopening memories she had yet to fully process.

Dressed in mourning attire, Soo Ah appears visibly conflicted in the released stills. While In Ho feels uneasy watching Jung Min behave like a family member despite their breakup, Jung Min believes his long history with Soo Ah gives him the right to stand by her side. The tension between the two men escalates into a confrontation, forcing Soo Ah to make a painful and deeply personal decision.
By placing a romantic dilemma within the solemn setting of a funeral, “Love Track” examines how love, time, and responsibility intersect in moments of loss. The episode will air on December 21 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
