The upcoming drama “Can This Love Be Translated?” has begun to draw attention by unveiling stills that highlight the nuanced chemistry between leads Kim Seon Ho and Go Youn Jung. Set against a multicultural backdrop, the series explores how a professional partnership gradually evolves into an unexpected emotional connection.

Kim Seon Ho plays Joo Ho Jin, a multilingual interpreter fluent in English, Japanese, and Italian. In released images, Ho Jin is shown communicating effortlessly with foreign counterparts, emphasizing his professionalism, composure, and linguistic expertise. These qualities define him as a character who approaches both work and relationships with restraint and clarity. In contrast, Go Youn Jung’s Cha Mu Hee is portrayed as a global star accustomed to the spotlight. While some stills capture her confidence during public interviews, others reveal moments of visible nervousness, hinting at a more vulnerable and relatable side beneath her fame.

Additional stills show Ho Jin and Mu Hee standing side by side, gazing ahead with quiet tension, as well as moments where Mu Hee’s anxious expression meets Ho Jin’s serious and attentive gaze. These scenes suggest the emotional challenges the two characters will encounter as they navigate unfamiliar surroundings and shifting dynamics.

The contrast between Ho Jin’s firm, composed personality and Mu Hee’s bright yet unpredictable nature forms the core of the drama’s appeal. As the characters grow closer and then drift apart at pivotal moments, their differences create both conflict and attraction, shaping a romance that unfolds in unexpected ways.

“Can This Love Be Translated?” is scheduled to premiere on January 16, offering viewers a story that blends language, culture, and emotion into a quietly compelling romantic narrative.
