The Korean Business Research Institute has released its brand reputation rankings for drama actors in December. The analysis focused on 50 actors who appeared in dramas aired between November 10 and December 10, evaluating media coverage, public participation, interaction, and community awareness to determine overall rankings.
Kim Woo Bin claimed first place with a brand reputation index of 3,894,193, following his recent appearance in Genie, Make a Wish. His keyword analysis highlighted terms such as “Shin Min Ah,” “10-year relationship,” and “GBRB,” while related keywords included “marry,” “reveal,” and “congratulate,” indicating strong public interest not only in his work but also in his personal narrative. His positivity score reached an impressive 92.98 percent, underscoring his consistently favorable public image.

Ji Chang Wook ranked second with a brand reputation index of 2,844,862 after returning to television with The Manipulated. Close behind, 2PM’s Lee Junho placed third with a score of 2,748,297, driven by his performance in Typhoon Family, which continued to resonate with viewers throughout the month.
Kim You Jung secured fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,584,067 following her role in Dear X, maintaining strong visibility among younger leading actors. Rounding out the top five was Kim Se Jeong, whose appearance in Moon River earned her a brand reputation score of 2,396,179, reinforcing her steady presence as both an actress and a singer.
Overall, the December rankings reflect a balanced mix of veteran actors with long-standing public trust and performers who have gained renewed attention through recent projects. The list highlights not only current drama success but also broader audience perception within Korea’s competitive television landscape.
