SBS’s upcoming fantasy romance drama No Tail to Tell has released new stills featuring Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon, offering a first look at the unusual fate that binds their characters together.
The drama tells the story of Eun Ho, played by Kim Hye Yoon, a quirky Gen Z gumiho who has no desire to become human. Unlike traditional portrayals, Eun Ho carefully avoids good deeds that could turn her human, while also steering clear of major wrongdoing in order to protect the thousand years of spiritual power she has accumulated. Living cautiously in between, her existence is thrown into chaos by one unexpected encounter that alters the course of her life—and death.

Lomon stars as Kang Si Yeol, a world-class soccer player overflowing with confidence. As the star striker of a prestigious overseas club, he enjoys fame, wealth, and success at the peak of his career. However, his flawless life begins to unravel when Eun Ho suddenly “tackles” her way into it, disrupting everything he once took for granted.
The newly released stills depict two key encounters between the pair across time. Even before Kang Si Yeol rose to stardom, Eun Ho had already marked him as a potential client. She appears out of nowhere during his private training session, handing him her business card and earning a wary, suspicious glance in return—a moment that hints at a deeper, long-standing connection.

Nine years later, they meet again. Kang Si Yeol is now a globally famous athlete, while Eun Ho remains firmly in her relentless sales mode, once again appearing without warning. Why does Eun Ho, who treats human wishes as transactions, continue to linger around Kang Si Yeol? And what wish will he ultimately choose to make?
The production team shared that viewers can look forward to seeing how Eun Ho’s unique ability to grant wishes—at a price—will reshape Kang Si Yeol’s life. As the story unfolds, audiences are expected to become increasingly immersed in the unpredictable fate that draws the two closer together.
No Tail to Tell is set to premiere on January 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
