“Love Track” Explores The Quiet End Of Love As Jun Hye Jin And Yang Dae Hyuk Portray A Couple On The Brink Of Divorce

KBS 2TV’s short-form drama project “Love Track” is set to unveil another emotionally grounded story, focusing on the fragile space between love and separation. In the upcoming episode titled “Love’s Grace Period,” Jun Hye Jin and Yang Dae Hyuk portray a married couple preparing for divorce—while continuing to live together for one final month.

“Love Track” is a romance anthology composed of ten standalone stories, each examining love from a different angle. This episode turns its attention to the end of a marriage, depicting not dramatic confrontation, but the quiet tension that lingers when affection has faded yet emotional ties remain unresolved.

Jun Hye Jin plays Yoo Ri, a woman struggling to organize her feelings in a marriage where love no longer feels alive. Though she understands that the relationship is ending, she finds herself unable to let go completely. Yang Dae Hyuk portrays Ji Hoo, a man who has already decided on divorce but is forced by circumstance to continue sharing daily life with his wife. His restrained demeanor reflects the emotional fatigue and realism of adult relationships.

Newly released stills highlight the strain between the two characters. In one moment, they exchange sharp, weary gazes that reveal the deep rift between once-loving spouses. In another, they sit down to dinner together, appearing outwardly no different from any other married couple. Yet beneath the surface, a clear emotional disconnect persists, underscoring the discomfort of their shared living arrangement.

The story further hints that Ji Hoo quietly accepts unexpected aspects of Yoo Ri’s personal life during this period, suggesting that the reasons behind their divorce are more complicated than they initially appear. This subtle emotional layering adds depth to what might otherwise be a simple farewell narrative.

Through its restrained storytelling, “Love Track” continues to explore how love often ends—not with dramatic collapse, but through the accumulation of unspoken feelings and unresolved moments. “Love’s Grace Period” will air on December 27 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
