Actor Lee Jong Suk closed out the year by once again extending his support to those in need, reinforcing his steady commitment to social causes. On December 30, it was reported that he donated a total of 100 million won to Asan Medical Center in Seoul, with equal amounts allocated to the hospital’s development fund and to a program supporting patients from vulnerable backgrounds.

The donation will be used to help establish advanced treatment systems for cancer patients, contributing to a more comprehensive care environment. In addition, part of the funds will assist underprivileged patients by covering medical treatment and surgery costs, easing the financial strain faced by many families.
This contribution marks the third consecutive year Lee Jong Suk has supported Asan Medical Center. Following a donation to Asan Children’s Hospital in 2023, he made another major contribution in 2024 for children and vulnerable patients, demonstrating a consistent and long-term approach to giving.
Beyond healthcare, Lee Jong Suk has continuously sought out areas requiring attention, from programs supporting young people preparing for independent lives to international relief and development organizations. His ongoing efforts highlight a quiet yet enduring form of influence, one that extends beyond his professional career and into sustained social engagement.
