SBS’s upcoming fantasy romance drama No Tail to Tell has unveiled a new poster, drawing attention to the evolving relationship between its two leads, Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon. Blending romance with supernatural elements, the drama follows two individuals from vastly different worlds whose encounter sets off an unexpected journey of mutual salvation.

Kim Hye Yoon stars as Eun Ho, a gumiho with a distinctly modern sensibility. Unlike the traditional mythical fox longing to become human, Eun Ho is determined to avoid that fate. She shies away from even minor acts of kindness, fearing they might trigger her transformation, and avoids serious wrongdoing to protect her thousand-year powers. For 900 years, she has existed cautiously among humans, maintaining a delicate balance—until an unforeseen incident disrupts her carefully controlled life.

Lomon plays Kang Si Yeol, a world-class soccer player whose confidence and discipline have carried him to the top of the international stage. As a star center forward for a major overseas club, he has lived what appears to be a flawless life. That sense of perfection, however, begins to unravel the moment he crosses paths with Eun Ho.

The newly released poster signals a shift in their dynamic. Eun Ho is shown resting in Kang Si Yeol’s arms, her white tail—an unmistakable sign of her true identity—wrapping around them. Her gaze is soft and wistful, revealing an emotional vulnerability never seen before. The image suggests that her long, unchanged life in the human world is about to take a decisive turn after meeting him.

With its gentle yet enigmatic tone, the poster hints that No Tail to Tell is not merely a romantic fantasy, but a story about identity, choice, and transformation. As Eun Ho confronts feelings she has avoided for centuries, the drama raises a central question: what does it truly mean to become human?

No Tail to Tell is set to premiere on January 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST, marking the beginning of a romance that challenges fate itself.
