NCT members Jeno and Jaemin’s upcoming short-form drama “WIND UP” is officially preparing for its release. On January 2, the new short-form platform KITZ unveiled the drama’s first official poster and confirmed its premiere date.
“WIND UP” is a coming-of-age sports drama centered on a high school baseball pitcher who can no longer throw a strike despite once being a promising talent. His life takes an unexpected turn when a transfer student appears and appoints himself as the pitcher’s manager. As the two navigate uncertainty and setbacks together, the series portrays a bright and sincere friendship that develops through shared growth and understanding.

The drama is directed by Kim Sung Ho, known for his work on Netflix’s “Move to Heaven” and KBS’s “Bad Prosecutor.” His involvement has drawn attention for his ability to deliver emotionally grounded stories that focus on character development, adding anticipation to the project.
Jeno takes on the role of Woo Jin, a former standout pitcher struggling with the loss of his confidence and ability, while Jaemin plays Tae Hee, the transfer student who enters Woo Jin’s life and becomes a catalyst for change. In the newly released poster, the two appear side by side in baseball uniforms, with the tagline reading, “The dream that was wavering has found its place,” succinctly capturing the drama’s central message.
The KITZ platform will officially launch on January 16 at 10 a.m. KST, with “WIND UP” set to premiere later that day at 6 p.m. KST as one of its inaugural releases.
