In the historical romance mystery drama Glory, the character Rong Yunshu is portrayed by Zhang Nan, with voice performance provided by He Wenxiao. As the fifth-ranked heir of the prestigious Rong family tea merchants, Rong Yunshu plays a crucial role in sustaining the family’s commercial legacy.

Highly proficient in tea cake production and tea liquor evaluation, Rong Yunshu serves as the technical backbone of the Rong family’s tea business. Her expertise ensures both quality control and continuity within the enterprise. Within the narrative, she forms part of a multi-layered sister ensemble alongside Rong Yunxi, Rong Yun’e, Rong Yunin, and Rong Yunwan, collectively illustrating the internal structure and dynamics of a traditional Jiangnan tea merchant household.

Rong Yunshu’s storyline extends beyond family affairs into a complex triangular relationship involving He Xingming and Yang Dingchen. Through business rivalries and emotional negotiations, her character reflects the survival strategies of merchant families operating within a system where economic interests and personal relationships are deeply intertwined.

Born on June 27, 1997, in Dalian, Liaoning Province, Zhang Nan—formerly known as Zhang Nan—graduated from Dalian Model Art School. She officially entered the entertainment industry in 2016 after signing with Huanyu Film.

Over the years, Zhang Nan has steadily built a diverse acting portfolio across historical, modern, and fantasy genres. Her representative works include Twin Mirrors, The Legend of Haolan, Legacy, Side Story of Fox Volant, Court Lady, Royal Feast, and Storm in the Capital. Through consistent role selection and gradual progression, she has established herself as an actress capable of handling ensemble narratives and emotionally restrained characters.

In Glory, Zhang Nan’s portrayal of Rong Yunshu adds a grounded and methodical presence to the drama, balancing technical authority with familial responsibility and understated emotional depth.
