Jung Eun Chae Takes on the Role of a Law Firm CEO Advocating for Female Victims in New Drama “Honour”

ENA’s upcoming legal drama Honour has released new stills featuring Jung Eun Chae in character, drawing attention ahead of its premiere. Adapted from a Swedish original series, the drama is a mystery thriller that follows three lawyers as they confront a major scandal rooted in the past while pursuing truth and accountability.

Jung Eun Chae portrays Kang Shin Jae, the CEO of L&J (Listen and Join), a law firm dedicated to defending female victims of crime. Born into a prestigious three-generation legal family, Kang Shin Jae chooses not to follow the conventional path laid out for her. Instead, she builds her career around firm convictions, focusing on protecting those pushed to the margins of society through the power of law.

As the central figure of the team, Kang Shin Jae works alongside her law school classmates and co-founders of L&J, Yoon Ra Young (played by Lee Na Young) and Hwang Hyun Jin (played by Lee Chung Ah). She is responsible for making critical decisions and setting the firm’s overall direction, while also maintaining trust and balance within the group. Her leadership blends cool-headed reasoning with a genuine passion for justice, allowing her to confront opponents strategically without losing sight of the human stories behind each case.

The newly released stills highlight different facets of the character. Dressed in a sleek suit, Kang Shin Jae’s steady gaze conveys authority and composure in the face of pressure. In contrast, scenes showing her at social gatherings, holding a wine glass with a relaxed smile, reflect the refinement shaped by her upbringing. Meanwhile, her focused expression while working underscores sharp intelligence and professional credibility.

According to the production team, Jung Eun Chae brings both boldness and elegance to the role, making her uniquely suited to portray Kang Shin Jae. They praised her commanding presence on set and described her performance as one that gives rise to a new kind of on-screen leader.

Honour is scheduled to premiere on February 2 at 10 p.m. KST, and is expected to draw interest for its blend of legal drama, suspense, and socially conscious storytelling.
