The upcoming thriller film “Sister” has released a new set of stills, offering a deeper look into the tense relationships and psychological conflict at the heart of its story. Starring Jung Zi So, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Cha Joo Young, the film centers on a carefully planned kidnapping that gradually unravels, blurring the lines between perpetrator, accomplice, and victim.

“Sister” follows Hae Ran (Jung Zi So), who kidnaps her half-sister So Jin (Cha Joo Young) for a large ransom, with the entire operation orchestrated by Tae Su (Lee Soo Hyuk). As the plan unfolds, long-buried secrets among the three begin to surface, transforming what seemed like a straightforward crime into a dangerous psychological battle in which no one can be fully trusted.

The newly released stills trace key moments from the abduction to the shocking turning points that expose hidden motives. One image captures masked Hae Ran and Tae Su forcibly taking a defenseless So Jin, setting an ominous tone from the outset. Other stills show Tae Su driving with an icy expression, while So Jin lies bound on a bed, her face covered, emphasizing her precarious situation.

A particularly striking element is the subtle tension between Hae Ran and Tae Su. Though united as partners in crime, their guarded expressions suggest cracks in their alliance. This unspoken discord raises questions about their true intentions and highlights the intense psychological struggle that develops as their relationship begins to fracture.

The narrative takes a dramatic turn when So Jin launches a counterattack. After breaking free, she points a gun at someone, overturning the balance of power and propelling the story into unpredictable territory. Her resistance challenges the notion of a passive hostage and adds further complexity to the film’s exploration of survival and control.

Scheduled for release on January 28, “Sister” promises a gripping thriller that delves into the darker sides of trust, ambition, and human nature, delivering a suspenseful experience shaped by shifting perspectives and relentless tension.
