KBS 2TV’s drama “To My Beloved Thief” has unveiled new stills from its upcoming third episode, offering a glimpse into a tense nighttime encounter between Nam Ji Hyun and Moon Sang Min.
The drama stars Nam Ji Hyun as Hong Eun Jo, a woman living a double life as both a compassionate physician and the legendary thief Hong Gil Dong, and Moon Sang Min as Prince Yi Yeol, who unexpectedly swaps bodies with her.
Earlier episodes revealed Hong Eun Jo’s secret life: while she heals the sick by day, she becomes Hong Gil Dong by night, stealing from corrupt officials and redistributing their wealth to the people. In episode two, Yi Yeol successfully tracked down Hong Gil Dong, only to surprise her by declaring that he would not pursue her further as long as she did not cross certain boundaries. Understanding that her actions were driven by justice rather than personal gain, Yi Yeol showed unexpected sympathy.
Newly released stills show Hong Eun Jo once again appearing as Hong Gil Dong, this time seeking out Yi Yeol of her own accord. Wearing the thief’s signature mask and carrying a bow, she confronts him from a rooftop under the cover of night. As the two lock eyes—neither backing down—the tension between them is unmistakable.
The reason behind Hong Gil Dong’s risky decision to approach her former pursuer remains a key question heading into the next episode.
