tvN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama Our Universe has released new character posters, offering a closer look at the leads and the emotional dynamics that will shape the story. Rooted in everyday realism, the series explores how relationships evolve when responsibility and shared living blur personal boundaries.

Our Universe follows two in-laws who begin on uneasy terms but are suddenly brought together under one roof after the unexpected death of their older siblings. Tasked with raising their 20-month-old nephew Woo Joo, the pair navigate grief, obligation, and emotional change, gradually reshaping their connection through daily life.
Bae In Hyuk stars as Sun Tae Hyung, a blunt and seemingly cold photographer’s assistant. Despite his title, his technical skills rival those of the lead photographer. The line on his poster—“You are the baby’s aunt, nothing more and nothing less”—reflects his firm attempt to draw boundaries. Beneath his prickly demeanor, however, lies unresolved emotional baggage, which resurfaces as he grows closer to Woo Hyun Jin and reunites with his older brother after 16 years.

Roh Jeong Eui plays Woo Hyun Jin, Sun Tae Hyung’s cheerful in-law who is preparing to enter the workforce and hopes for a simple, ordinary life. Having relied on her older sister since childhood, she works tirelessly to support her family. Her poster reads, “Brother-in-law, are we strangers? Please just take good care of the child,” hinting at the sudden shift in her life as she begins raising Woo Joo alongside Sun Tae Hyung.
Park Seo Ham portrays Park Yoon Sung, Woo Hyun Jin’s first love. Capable, confident, and outwardly flawless, he and Hyun Jin once shared unspoken feelings during their college years. Although their relationship never fully developed, fate brings them back together as colleagues. The question on his poster—“So that’s not your child nor your boyfriend?”—suggests his role as an unexpected catalyst in the evolving emotional landscape.

The production team shared that an unforeseen love triangle will unfold in an engaging way between Sun Tae Hyung and Woo Hyun Jin, who become connected through family ties, and Park Yoon Sung, Hyun Jin’s first love who reappears at a crucial moment. Their chemistry and emotional choices are expected to drive much of the drama’s appeal.
Our Universe is set to premiere on February 4 at 10:40 p.m. KST. As anticipation builds, viewers are looking forward to a story that delicately balances family bonds, personal growth, and the quiet complexities of love.
