The romantic comedy Positively Yours has released new stills that capture the subtle tension between Oh Yeon Seo and Hong Jong Hyun, portraying a long-standing friendship on the brink of emotional change. Based on a popular webtoon, the series presents a lighthearted yet grounded look at love that begins under unexpected circumstances.
The drama follows the aftermath of a one-night encounter between a man and a woman who have both sworn off marriage. Choi Jin Hyuk stars as Kang Du Jun, the CEO of Taehan Liquor and a second-generation chaebol who appears to have everything, while Oh Yeon Seo plays Jang Hui Won, the youngest manager on the company’s new product development team—exceptional at work but inexperienced in love.
Within the story, Hui Won shares a 15-year friendship with Cha Min Uk, played by Hong Jong Hyun. Their bond is so close that they can understand each other’s feelings through a single glance or message. Comfortable, deeply in sync, and almost family-like, the two have long been each other’s most reliable emotional anchor.
The newly released stills emphasize this natural chemistry while hinting at a possible shift. In one scene, Hui Won openly shares her worries with Min Uk and seeks his advice, reflecting the trust built over years. Other images show Min Uk quietly supporting her, including bringing her a warm cup of coffee during late-night work at the office.
One particularly telling moment captures Min Uk watching Hui Won from a distance with a soft smile. Although he has always described their relationship as “just friends,” the entrance of Kang Du Jun into Hui Won’s life disrupts that certainty.
