tvN’s upcoming drama Undercover Miss Hong is set to showcase ITZY’s Yuna coming to Park Shin Hye’s aid in a playful and unexpected makeover. Set in the late 1990s, the comedy stars Park Shin Hye as Hong Geum Bo, an elite financial supervisory officer in her 30s who goes undercover as a 20-year-old entry-level employee to investigate suspicious transactions at a securities firm.

Tasked with convincingly passing as someone more than a decade younger, Hong Geum Bo turns to her younger sister Hong Jang Mi for help. Portrayed by Yuna, Jang Mi embodies the free-spirited, trend-savvy youth of the 1990s, standing in sharp contrast to Geum Bo’s neat and restrained style. To successfully infiltrate Hanmin Securities, Geum Bo must not only borrow her sister’s identity but also adapt her appearance and behavior to fit in with younger colleagues, carefully keeping up with youth trends to avoid suspicion.

When her solo efforts fall short, Geum Bo relies on Jang Mi’s bold fashion sense and intensive coaching on how to look young. Despite a 15-year age gap, the sisters share a realistic bond and lively chemistry, which is expected to become one of the drama’s highlights.

Undercover Miss Hong will premiere on January 17 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
