Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan marked their 11th wedding anniversary on January 17, a date that also coincides with Chou’s 47th birthday. The couple shared affectionate photos on social media, showing them leaning their heads together and raising glasses in celebration. The images quickly drew attention from fans, many of whom described the moment as a vivid expression of happiness.

Quinlivan posted the photos on her Instagram account with the caption “Celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary.” In addition to the couple’s portrait, she also shared a group photo from the gathering, which included family members and close friends. Among those present were Chou’s mother Yeh Hui-mei, Quinlivan’s father, and several friends from the entertainment and creative industries, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The celebration featured a dinner with loved ones and a live band performing “Happy Birthday.” Chou joined in spontaneously, playing along with the pianist and clapping to the rhythm, reflecting his cheerful mood. He later shared an Instagram Story showing himself holding a cocktail, further capturing the relaxed tone of the evening.

Earlier, when Chou participated in an exhibition tennis match in Australia and did not secure a win, Quinlivan publicly expressed her support, saying that stepping onto the stage to face a challenge already makes someone a winner. The message highlighted the mutual encouragement that characterizes their relationship.

In previous interviews, Quinlivan has spoken about how she and Chou have sustained their marriage over the years. She attributes their longevity to maintaining their original intentions and continuing to appreciate one another, even amid busy schedules. Communication, she noted, is central to their relationship. When disagreements arise, she prefers to pause and reflect, using empathy to resolve differences. The couple also values simple moments together, such as casual coffee dates, to keep their bond strong.

Quinlivan has compared marriage to a long-distance run that requires coordination and shared resilience. Despite becoming parents, she continues to prioritize their partnership and believes that small, caring gestures in daily life help build a sense of security. In her view, choosing understanding and acceptance allows couples to move forward together, embracing what she calls the “beautiful chaos” of family life.
