Set in the late 1990s, tvN’s new comedy “Undercover Miss Hong” stars Park Shin Hye as Hong Geum Bo, an elite financial supervisory officer in her 30s who goes undercover as a 20-year-old rookie employee to investigate suspicious financial dealings. In the first episode, Hong successfully assumes her younger sister’s identity, completes intensive coaching to pass as a college-aged newcomer, and secures a position at Hanmin Securities, even moving into the same dormitory as the CEO’s secretary to gather information.

Her carefully laid plan quickly encounters an unexpected complication. Hong is stunned to discover that the company’s new CEO is none other than her ex-boyfriend, Shin Jung Woo. The surprise reunion throws her mission off balance, forcing her to navigate unresolved emotions while protecting her cover in a high-stakes corporate environment.
Stills released ahead of episode two show Hong with disheveled clothing and a tense, icy expression, hinting at a serious confrontation with her roommate. With her investigation dependent on gaining trust amid growing friction, the situation raises questions about how she will overcome these obstacles.
The second episode of “Undercover Miss Hong” airs on January 18 at 9:10 p.m. KST, continuing Hong Geum Bo’s perilous journey between personal history and professional duty.
