Ha Ji Won and Kim Min Kyu are reportedly considering starring together in an upcoming drama titled “Affair Hunter” (literal title). According to a report by OSEN on January 20, both actors have received offers for the project and are currently reviewing them positively.

Ha Ji Won’s agency, Haewadal Entertainment, confirmed that the drama is among the projects she is considering. Kim Min Kyu’s agency, Companion Company, also stated that he has been offered a role in “Affair Hunter” and is giving it favorable consideration. The responses from both agencies suggest that discussions are progressing steadily, though no final decisions have been announced.
“Affair Hunter” is set to be directed by Kim Seung Ho, who previously worked as a co-director on “The Nokdu Flower” and “Twenty-Five Twenty-One,” and later served as the main director for “Joseon Attorney” and “Family by Choice.” The script will be written by Hwang Bo Kyung, adding further attention to the creative lineup behind the project.
The drama is reportedly in talks to air on tvN. However, the network has clarified that no official decision has been made regarding its broadcast schedule, indicating that discussions are still ongoing.
Meanwhile, Ha Ji Won is preparing to return to television for the first time in four years through ENA’s upcoming drama “Climax.” Kim Min Kyu, who completed his military service in 2024, has recently resumed acting activities, appearing in KBS 2TV’s short-form drama project “Love Track” as he gradually expands his post-discharge work.
