Netflix has revealed the first character stills from its upcoming drama The Art of Sarah, offering an early look at the tense relationship between Shin Hae Sun and Lee Jun Hyuk. Centered on ambition, deception, and pursuit, the series positions the two leads on opposite sides of a psychological chase where truth and illusion blur.

The Art of Sarah follows Sarah Kim, portrayed by Shin Hae Sun, a woman determined to establish herself as a luxury icon—even if that success is built on fabrication. As the regional CEO of a globally recognized luxury brand, Sarah’s name is widely known, yet she remains an elusive figure, rarely seen and difficult to approach. Her carefully constructed image raises questions about how much of her glamorous identity is real, and how much is meticulously staged.
Lee Jun Hyuk stars as Mu Gyeong, a man driven by a quiet obsession to uncover Sarah Kim’s true ambitions. Tasked with tracking her down, Mu Gyeong follows a trail filled with contradictions: multiple names, shifting ages, and careers that refuse to align into a single, coherent identity. The more he digs, the more Sarah appears to slip through his grasp, turning the investigation into a personal and increasingly dangerous pursuit.

The drama has drawn particular attention for reuniting Shin Hae Sun and Lee Jun Hyuk for the first time in nine years since their collaboration in the 2017 hit series Stranger. Their renewed on-screen pairing adds an extra layer of anticipation, as both actors are now returning with deeper experience and more complex roles.
Blending elements of suspense, character study, and social commentary on image-making and desire, The Art of Sarah promises a tightly wound narrative led by two sharply opposed characters. The series is scheduled to premiere on February 13, marking one of Netflix’s most talked-about drama launches of the season.
