KBS2’s upcoming daily drama Pearl in Red has released new stills highlighting its two formidable female leads, offering a glimpse into a revenge story driven by secrets, deception, and clashing ambitions.

Pearl in Red follows two women who return under false identities to uncover the buried sins and hidden truths of the powerful Adele family. As they inch closer to the center of power, their intertwined paths set the stage for an intense psychological battle fueled by revenge.
Park Jin Hee stars as Kim Dan Hee, a woman who abandons her own life after discovering the tragic truth behind her twin sister’s fate. Living under her sister’s name, she quietly infiltrates the enemy’s world, determined to see her revenge through to the end.

Nam Sang Ji portrays Baek Jin Joo, who reemerges under the new identity “Chloe Lee” after losing her family. Armed with grief and resolve, she returns with a single purpose—to bring down those responsible for her suffering.
The newly released stills capture the duo’s complex and ironic relationship. Unaware that they are entangled in the same web of events, the two women conceal their true identities while navigating between suspicion and cooperation as they work to expose the Adele Group’s crimes.
Although they share the same ultimate goal, their relationship constantly shifts between ally and adversary, making their dynamic one of the drama’s most compelling elements.
According to the production team, the psychological tension created by characters who must protect their own secrets while attempting to uncover others’ will be a key highlight of the series. Combined with the powerful acting synergy between Park Jin Hee and Nam Sang Ji, the drama is expected to deliver a strong emotional impact.
Pearl in Red is set to premiere on February 23 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
