NCT’s Doyoung marked his upcoming birthday with a meaningful act of generosity, even while currently serving in the military. On January 30, the NGO World Vision announced that Doyoung had donated 100 million won to support young people who are preparing to live independently.

Doyoung reportedly empathized with the challenges faced by youth who continue to need assistance after their legal protections end. With this donation, he hoped to help them build a stable foundation for self-reliant lives.
According to World Vision, the contribution will be used to support 21 young people preparing for independent living. The funds will assist with housing costs and emergency living expenses, helping them maintain stability in their daily lives as they transition toward self-sufficiency.
With his birthday approaching on February 1, Doyoung shared that he wanted to offer even a small measure of help to those who dream of a better future. He added that he, too, intends to continue dreaming steadily and endlessly, now and in the years to come.
World Vision Korea CEO Cho Myung Hwan expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that Doyoung had conveyed his sincere feelings even during his military service. He also stated that the organization would make every effort to ensure the donation leads to tangible improvements in the lives of young people preparing for independence.
Previously, in October of last year, Doyoung also donated 100 million won to World Vision to support the construction of a school for children in Bugondo village in Uganda.
