EXO has officially announced the return of their popular travel variety series EXO’s Travel the World on a Ladder with the release of a new poster and broadcast details for Season 5. On February 2, the group confirmed that the upcoming season will premiere on March 4, consisting of six episodes airing every Wednesday at 8 p.m. KST on Mnet and Wavve.

In Season 5, EXO members Suho, Chanyeol, Doh Kyung Soo (D.O.), Kai, and Sehun will travel together to Jeju Island. The show is expected to highlight the group’s well-known chemistry, combining humorous moments with relaxed and heartfelt interactions as the members navigate their journey.

First launched in 2018, EXO’s Travel the World on a Ladder has become one of EXO’s signature variety programs. The series is built around a “ladder-climbing” lottery system that randomly determines travel decisions, adding unpredictability to each trip. Over the years, EXO has traveled to destinations such as Japan, Kaohsiung and Kenting, Namhae, and Geoje and Tongyeong through the program.

The announcement of Season 5 comes amid an active period for EXO. In addition to their recent comeback with the release of “Crown,” the group is also preparing for their sixth concert tour, EXO PLANET #6 “EXhOrizon.” The tour is scheduled to begin from April 10 to 12 at the KSPO DOME, signaling a renewed phase of group activities across both music and variety entertainment.
